March Break at the Farm 2016

Drop by the farm this March Break!

We'll be open from Tuesday to Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm and have planned a variety of activities as listed below.

Free access to the maze area (weather dependent)

Visit the main barn to meet the ladies and see our voluntary milking station in action.

*Please remember to dress appropriately.  Don't forget your rubber boots/ winter boots.

All activities will be approximately 30 minutes in length.  Adult supervision of children required.

Tuesday March 15th 12:30pm

What Do The Cows Eat?

See the cows getting fed by Martin or Arwa, and learn about what they are eating.

Wednesday March 16th

11am & 2pm

Make Your Own Ice Cream (registration required)

Make your own ice cream ingredients.

Join Melanie in the Farm Cafe to make your own ice cream!

Each participant will receive guidance on how to turn their supplies into ice cream.

This can be a bit messy but very fun.

Please bring clean/fresh mittens. This activity can get cold on the hands!

Limited to 12 participants per session. 

Cost is $5 per participant.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Ice Cream Making Demonstration

All hands on deck! This is a group activity where attendees will each take their turn to help churn the ice cream!

Join Melanie in the Farm Cafe to see how ice cream is made by hand using an antique ice cream bucket.

Main Dairy Barn - Open all year during Farm Store hours!

Meet the cows and see our Voluntary Milking system in action.

The following attractions are now closed for the Winter.... Will re-open mid May 2019!

Demonstration Barn - A variety of animals and feathered friends are ready to greet you including pigs, sheep and chickens.

Goat Pen - Visitors are welcome to enter the goat pen, located near the demo barn, and play with the goats!
